Le Sonic is the professional name of the music production duo of Mike Rogers and Gary Lefkowith.The two veteran producers, songwriters and recording artists work with a team of top artists to bring their creative vision to life. In 2022 Le Sonic was the #1 Billboard Smooth Jazz Group on Billboard’s Airplay Chart, with two # 1 Records.
Mike Rogers has made a career of producing, engineering, and writing for legendary artists in popular music. His first Hit Record was the ground breaking record by Deeelite, which he engineered and co-produced. “Groove is in the Heart” was a mega hit that was not only ground breaking but a revelation, for its time! “Groove” sold 6 million copes worldwide. Mike has been behind the board for Sinead O’Connor, Graham Nash, Erasure, The Fat Boys, Randy Brecker, and Omar Hakim.
Gary Lefkowith has worked on both sides of the music industry; as an Artist and Record Promoter. He was a ¼ Finalist in the American Song Festival and a finalist in the USA Song Writing Competition of 2019 and 2020. In the 1990’s, his group HiFi had a Top 20 record on the CMJ College Music Chart and 10 years later a Top 40 charting single on Billboard’s Top 40 Indicator Chart. In 2008 he was featured on guitar at the Daytona 500’s 50th Anniversary. Gary has promoted records for Elvis, Mick Jagger, and Prince. Jim Hynes and Scott Kreitzer are the featured Artists on “Riverside Drive.”
Jim Hynes has played the Trumpet on countless Broadway and TV shows throughout his career. They include Cats, Jerome Robbins Broadway, Chess, Beautiful, On Your Feet, and The Color Purple. He has performed and recorded with some of the top artists in the industry including Paul Simon, Sting, James Taylor, Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Cyndi Lauper, Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Tony Bennett, Jim’s Trumpet playing is featured on John Williams Super Bowl theme and on the CBS Evening News.
Scott Kreitzer made his journey to New York at the age of 19 from South Florida. He quickly became one of the most in demand Saxophone players in the City and has done countless recording sessions, Broadway Shows and live dates. Not only has Scott been a fixture of the New York City music scene, but he has traveled the world playing his music. Scott has had the privilege of working and performing with many top artists and producers during his career, such as Phil Ramone and David Foster.
Track Mood: Upbeat & Chill Smooth Jazz. Especially Ideal for listening to in the car, exercising, or while relaxing at home. Also appropriate for a work setting, to keep the juices going. Although the listener may be engaged by the artistry, the ambience, tone, and mood allow for casual attention as well.
